Default request for those of you with an HKS Hiper system

I am about to order an HKS Hiper - either mild steel or the special order ss version. before I do so, I would like to hear one on an S. Is there anyone out there in the Henley / Maidenhead / Slough area with an HKS that I can come and listen to ? Beers in it for you if there is someone.

Cheers.

I'm with CC - if an aural improvement is what you're after, and as long as you can live with the "boominess" between 3,000 and 3,500 rpm, the HKS Hiper is great.

I've done 20,000 miles with mine on and haven't ever really felt that it was grating or too loud.

I'm about to trade my 02 for an 04 and am having a really hard time deciding what to do about my HKS - not because of the noise but simply because I'm not sure whether the cans will look odd in the new moulded 04 bumper. I'm going to miss the noise if I stick with the stock exhaust (which I suspect I will do, at least to begin with)

I can swing by Oxford on my way home from work on Friday if you wish? I can just come up the A34 instead of the M3.

9005, come along to the Herts meet tomorrow (Thursday Evening) See StevenM's thread, or the List of meets in Important info link. I am going to be making my way up there from Henley, so we could co-ordinate a convoy together. I dont have the HKS but a couple of people there do

Good point chaps. Plus if you do come along, myself or one of the others (well probably all of us! ) will take you through the Hatfield tunnel. An experience not to be missed!
