Default Resale value

As mentioned elsewhere, I'm going to be selling up in the next couple of months.

However, I've no idea what sort of price to look at obtaining - I did try and sell last autumn/winter in order to buy Gadaffi's yellow JDM but it didn't work (overpriced and didn't reduce quick enough to cater for summer disappearing tbh). Now I'm looking at getting rid to reduce my outgoings as I'm living in the middle of Edinburgh and have no need for a car at all. "Pleasure" isn't enough of a justification, financially, at this moment in time. I won't be replacing it with anything, I'll have no car for a year or so.

It's a Silverstone / FULL red (not that pansy Red/Black ) 03 with 78k on the clock.

The kicker is, though, there is some damage to the passenger door and front wing, necessitating (as far as the quote from Chathams Honda in Edinburgh is concerned)

The resale value of it as it is or repaired will depend on whether the car is recoreded on the hpi register as being damaged (doubt it with the value of the repair but you never know).

Thought as much.

Can't sell the mods (such as they are) as I have nothing to replace them with.

As for a 0% CC...not a chance. At any APR actually, to be honest. My history is such that I can't even open another bank account.

Hmm..

Someone must be able to front you the excess until its sold? Even if you end us selling it for slightly less for a quick sale you'll still be up overall!

I concur with the getting fixed somehow - as you say, it's tricky enough at this time of year without damage.

There is the option of an independent bodyshop providing a cheaper repair, but then that may put off a buyer.
