Default Roof or respray first?

My 02 S2000 is in need of a face lift - what should I do first respray or new hood?

I'd be doing the roof first , to limit the chance of damaging your new paint , if you painted first that is .

Been serious, mine was the other way round.

The body shop damaged my roof pushing the car around the workshop. I've still got white dust stuck in the weave of the roof in places.

They did a good job for cheap though, so I let them off as I knew a new roof from Jack Smiths was only a couple of hundred quid

I had my roof fitted the day I collected her from the bodyshop (respray).

Just tell the company its had new paint, if you find any damage they'll have to cough up.
