His arches look like they've been rolled and maybe pulled as well.

I'm sure he'll let us know soon enough....

Chris.

I have no rubbing at all, but then again I'm not very low. I could go much lower all around on current tyre sizes before having to go near the arches...

Look good. What colour are they bronze or gunmetal.

I looked into Rota's extensively but was fortunate enough to find a set of Work XD9's just as I was on the verge of buying Torque Drifts.

One of the questions you need to ask yourself is whether you want a flat faced wheel or one with a concave look? Whaninoz has 17x9 +35 and your arches will need rolling on the rear with a bumper trim and tab relocate as well as a lot of roll and flare on the fronts if you want that fitment.

If you aren't sure what spec you'll need as WinFreak has said, they do an S2000 specific fitment with a staggered offset in the Rota Fighter. Look on rotashop or potn and they both specify the width and offset of them on there for you to give you an idea of what you are looking for. From what I am aware of about a +48 is the lowest offset you can go without any rolling at all if you are lowered 30mm or more.

I have changed ideas about wheels though. I am now doing a deal with Rare Rims to get Rota Fighter Drifts in 9" et 35 all around so I can run a 255/40/17 non staggered setup.

Do you need arch work on the rear with the 9"+25 running 255?

I run 225F 255R atm on stock 08 wheels would i get away with the drifts without a arch roll? Dropped 20MM if that and no plans to go lower,

Is it pot luck finding those wheels dan or just get onto Rota about them?

Love the concave offset rather then the thicker surface,

Would 9 on the front be to much with a 225 tyre? Just thinking about concave all round if at all possible, And fitting in the arch?

So many options and i just dont have a clue

4x4 Freak, Rota readily stock that fitment but I can say with 100% certainty that a 225 tyre on a 9" wheel with a +35 offset won't fit, a 235 is the narrowest that will work with a fair bit of sidewall stretch but the best fitment with no sidewall stretch is a 245 or 255.

Whaninoz has a concave front and rear 9"+35 non-staggered setup on his car and the arches on the front needed a LOT of work. His dad owns a body shop and discussing it with him he said that he's going to cut a section out of the front wings and then weld in a new section so that it flares over the front wheels properly. The other option you have is to buy some new front wings...there's somewhere on the US section that sells OEM look wings with an extra 30mm width for wider offset front wheels but I can't remember the company.

With a 235/45/17 tyre and a lot of arch rolling and flaring you will get a 9" on the front but you will definitely need the front wings re-painting and the wobble smoothed out to get it looking good.

I helped Whaninoz when he rolled the arches on both my car and his, I have an 8"+35 front and that needed some rolling but its very subtle when compared to his. However, if you want that mad concave look on all four corners you can't get that on any 8" wheel that I've looked at and I looked for about 3 months solidly before buying my Work XD9's as a result. They are dished rather than concave though.

HTH

EDIT: ps. TommyS2000 has screwed his arches up trying to flare the rears enough to get the +25's to fit. For that width you need overfenders or custom arches welding in so there is no 'poke' so to speak.

I want to stick with the tyres i have for a while, Not long had the AD08s and there fantastic but cannot stretch to a another front pair nor do i know if they do them wider, So 225F and 255R is what i have to work with,

Will 255 on the Concave fit the rear fine or i need a role/flare?

Then whats best for the front fitment wise with a 225 tyre? 8 or 8.5 Or is there something better? I love the look but am more then happy to have it just on the rears and get some good fitting fronts,

Thanks Floppy i am starting to understand a little,
