OEM rims for that car are 16s and they will be dirt cheap on flea bay as most prefer the 17s that came in for the 04 car.

If you are happy enough with 16s then you ought to be able to make a good bit on the sale of your 18s if someone else isn't bothered about the rubbing issue.

275s OMG... thats why, I am on 9.5" rims stretching a 255 tyre, can bottom out but only in severe cases.

Your only safe options are as you say change wheels or go for coilovers
making them lock out before the tyre hits the arch.

Maybe try universal Powerflex bump stops cut to the desired length.

DO NOT go for those silly rings that insert into the springs, they are for towing caravans, not for sports car use.

With those rims "sports car usage" would be the last thing the car should be used for

Its a complicated business buying wheels for the S2000, as you have to get the offset right... or else you end up with this scenario.

FYI, I think you won't be able to get this past the MOT testsers though, due to the tyre extending past the wheel arch...

Were these wheels originally for a BMW? The deep dish at the back is pretty wild!

They are ET 45s for sure, so Supra / MR2 fitment.

MOT will be fine, its not an MOT issue at the moment but considering this, unbelievably it is illegal to show tread.

I am going for 19 x 10 at the rears but I am going to have blown rear arches to cover it.

275

I had 255's on some 18" Volks and they rubbed like hell

You have a few options
Add LOADS of camber to tuck the tyre in as the damper compresses
Roll the arches to move the lip that is rubbing away from the tyre
Though I doubt they will work with that sort of width
I ended up buying the correct offset wheels
