Default Rust bubble on bonnet

Hi have been doing some cleaning on the s2000 today and have found a tiny bubble of rust on the front lip of the bonnet - am I right in thinking there is a corrosion guarantee on the car ?

Yes, details all on the Honda website and in your handbook. You'll need to take it to a dealer.

I'm no expert, but doesn't ally need pretty extreme conditions to corrode?.......

Nope just a hole in the (Honda thin) paint and moisture, salt atmosphere will do it quicker or electrolosis.

Aluminium corrodes when it touches steel for a long period. That's why land rover had problems with their new cars in recent years, as out of the factory they had aluminium panels riveted/spot welded to steel frames, so we're rotting in just a couple of years!
