Default Rust cut out

Hay all
Got my car back today been in the body shop since Monday. Had an inch of bubbling rust cut out of a rear wing. It has been rue sprayed and looks as good as new, perfect match.
Next job to fit some heated seat mats, the did point out some bubbles / corrosion on the bonnet and hardtop which needs to be fixed this year before it gets worse.

Hi there
I had it done in a place in stony Stratford that was recommended to me, I will give you the details via PM if you want them I don't know if your allowed to post details of places.
I don't have a before pic but I can post a pick of after.
There was about an inch of bubbling under the pant where the body met the bumper.

Yes if you can send me the details that will be great!

Did it take long for them to do it?

Hi
They had it on the Monday morning and I got it back Wednesday. Looks as good as new, in the summer I will let them have my hardtop and then when my other arch shows I will get that done. I'm sure my car will get more and more rust as time goes on as its 2003.
I'll send over the details.

Cheers

Yeah mine is a 2003 with rust in the same place by the bumper on the drivers side.

I just hope it's not a case of chasing the rust around the whole arch.

Same here, but on the passenger side. I keep putting off doing anything about it as I know it's going to be painful.

If you don't mind PM'ing me the details too.

Isn't the bonnet aluminium?

What have they done about preventing it coming back in a year? I really hate rear wheelarch repairs for that reason.

I've had to tackle a couple of blistes on the 'Lude. Fortunately it was only surface corrosion & I could grind it off.
