I lost to a van in the Exige due to wheelspinning (TC off)

I suspect he told his mates at the pub a similar story

My 0-100 9.5 seconds, van, probably can't do 100 Just I ****ed up!

The I did have a good race with a F360 CS and the S did really well. Onviously there were gaps being pulled but the F driver said he was really surprised at the S.

Just find some corners.

It's all down to the driver, knowing (or not knowing) the road AND to no little extent what gears you each find yourself in at the start of the little sorty. In my last S I was following a Boxter S out of Whitby towards Sandsend...... me in second at 40 or so as we came round righthand bend before going past golf club.... he floored it to overtake a couple of cars..... and I was in absolutely the RIGHT gear at the RIGHT revs to keep up with him (rapid change into 3rd at 9000rpm) right along the straight (up to the Newholm turning on the left) at which point the road falls away to the right - we're both doing 90-ish and he's shitting it as he don't know the road and I do..... I think he was quite surprised! On another day and on another road that HE knows and was in the right gear for, it wouldn't have been anywhere so easy to keep up....

Your baby must be punching above it's weight in the performance stakes.

Worth a reminder about the chap who was seen racing a car in a town centre... the other car crashed with fatalities and while the chap racing him earlier wasn't around when it actually happened, witnesses claimed he was.

Now doing a stretch IIRC. Was a big thing on car forums a while back.

I always think of that now, and give up early on! Just worth a reminder that a bit of a play can turn bad!

I had a woman claim I was doing 50mph coming onto the estate. She was in a house 150yds away and couldn't see me.

She knew I was doing 50 though because it sounded like that

I'm sure Kiwi will be along to clarify, but when he had his accident (some bafoon pulled out of a junction and he t-boned them), 2 apparently independant witnesses said that it was his fault and that he was doing 80mph.

Fortunately a copper saw the whole thing from some CCTV footage and promptly said 'B0ll0cks'

Sorry to go off topic, but witnesses need to be vetted before they can be believed.

I recently had a drag against a new Porker Bosxter S and he did pass me all full 300bhp of his. Against a DC-5 ITR the drag was equal nearly all the way.

Would like to know your opinion about this.

On the move a DC5 is very quick - it weighs very little and the iVtec has a lot of torque for a 2 litre. It also has less power loss to the wheels, although has 18 bhp less than the S to begin with.

You sort of understand why the politicians we always citicise don't want ****wits like us voting.

Or why a jury is not always the best option.
