Default S2000

Any one know this s2000: NUMBER PLATE BP03OLO
Silver GT, black/red Interior

As you can see it's an 03 plate although it has all the features of a 04, upgraded front and back end, interior and exhaust ect... It just confused me a little as I thought it was 04 onwards that got revised. Maybe a 53 plate at the very least. Car is from London area originally if that helps. Serviced mostly at Chiswick Honda.

Any info appreciated greatly

Thanks

Don't know it personally, but yes some owners do upgrade the bumpers and lights etc - Shouldn't command the price of an 04 onwards though!

I suppose it could have been on a private plate and then put back on an '03 ? it's a lot of effort to upgrade a pre-facelift - especially with lights + ballasts you're looking at a lot of £ to do absolutely everything

Only thing is it has 04 centre console not just radio hatch and newer rev display cluster. Speakers in the head rest... Seems legit. Car was first purchased from Honda 2003!?

I think you can get deals on them if people don't know what they have - the chap I bought mine from thought it was Monte Carlo Blue, I wouldn't be surprised if he looked up 2003 in the Glass guide and priced accordingly.

From the pics it looks a very nice car, all the panel lines look super straight, it even has the OEM side strakes and rear spoiler (which I don't personally like) but which are an expensive option (£500 right there), and the matching hard top (£800 there), the 'new' steering wheel too, it looks great (apart from the boring silver slow colour ) ... still would want to drive and see it in the flesh before buying however.
