Ball park figure for part costs?
My thread has the part numbers, send them to Si at Hendy and he will tell you.

Wow thats a great example of a thred hikack :-)

Please re read my posts, did I say I wanted to remove myself from society? I find it interesting to see how we are governed.

How we are in some cases taken for a joke and overridden by verbal over complications contracts and negitivity.

Back on topic, ived asked Si for a quote.... im sure hell have a headache with that, also ordered a new TCT from balladesports.

If you're DIYing, there was a crank holding tool on eBay fairly recently, came round a few times with no buyers so might still be out there.

Sorry, was in a rush earlier. When I was looking into it, the cheapest place was the states, such as CFL Honda. But I'm not sure they provide things to the UK anymore? There was a recent thread about getting parts from the states, but I can't find it, using a mobile. There is definitely one somewhere though!

TCT due in post soon..... im hoping it will cure the noise...if not itll have to be a chain.... I have previously underestimated the kindness of others on here... is it worth asking to see if someone can fit the TCT... any mechanics local to Hampshire? Ill buy the a bacon rolls... I hate the rattle noise and want it resolved asap. If not thats cool, ill take it to my mechankc in wales and we will fit all the goodies at the same time... fanimold, spoon braces etc. :-)

Is this chain rattle very noticeable? Does it only do it on start? Sure someone said like 6 months ago they heard mines doing it but i cant hear it? They were stood outside car, does it literally do it on crank over or noticeable while running?

It happens on warm starts - some videos of it on YouTube if you have a search.
