Thanks for the link. Brooklands is a publisher (I think) of road tests/reviews from magazines all in one soft back book. I thought there may be one for the s2000. But it would appear that there isn't one

Correct - Brooklands was associated with the publishers of Auto Bore, so reproduced their editorials.
That was in the days when test reports had facts in them, graphs and technical drawings. None of your Car mag name-dropping drivel.
AFAIK, the interweb is probably the best way of locating test reports for the S2000.
From memory, most of the traditionally-published reports all say exactly the same thing.
