S2000 Design
Simple styling (not too many lines to distort the shape)
Interior is low maintenance
Wheels should have been 17s from the start
Too many Silverstones around!
Plastic rear screen on early models
Location of headlight wash button
But the S is a great car! After saying all that!
The headlight wash button is the single worst placed button I have ever come across... back in summer when I first got the car It got pressed a couple of times accidentally and the stuff in the tank was either stale or just plain minging... kinda ruined a date I had with a girl from Uni when we got doused with the stuff but then saying that we still go out sometimes
I took the fuse out the following day and never put it back.

Love the engine surge into V-TEC and the sound from the stock exhaust that goes with it!
Love the brakes, they are so positive even when driven to the limits on the road.
Love the IOP paint colour
Hate the IOP paint for chipping so easy
Hate the heated rear screen and window switch positions

Love the little plastic thumb thingy that allows you to turn the storage compartment (behind the gear shift) into a double cup holder. How neat is that?
Oh yes and the engine, look of the car, handling, gearbox, reasonable size boot and build standard.
Don't like - the way the black plastic raditator grill is made and fitted into the front bumper. Also the rear number plate light arrangement.

The paint is an issue across more than just IOP - certainly a tad crap on the Silverstones as well (in terms of chipping easily).
And what's this about cup holders? I know the glovebox door has a couple of indentations for cups but nothng that would keep anything stable while in motion

I agree on the seat hight it needs to be an inch or so lower.
Has anyone hacked the seat subframe to achieve this i wonder?

Noooooooooooo! I would not be able to see over the steering wheel then!
I really love the lines of the body of the S with maybe the back a bit less than the front and sides.
Am I the only one who dislikes the rake of the windscreen? I parked next to an MR2 the other day and while the S made it look shabby in every other area, even that thing with its tellytubby face had a steeper raked windscreen then the S

The fact that when viewed from the side and slightly behind, the front wings look more like mudguards, as if the wheel is right on the corner. There's no nose visible beyond the wheel arch. This demonstrates it ...

The rear. I'd actually disagree with some as I think the rear "shoulders" are just about right. Any bigger, and you'd have to stick fatter rubber on to keep things in proportion.
Dash and instruments.
Dislikes:
As has already been said, the naff calipers and rusting rear hubs.
The fact that head on, it can sometimes look too MX5-ish or RX8-ish. Not necessarily a bad thing but it could do with being more distinguishable.
