Default S2000 Geometry

Having just got some new wheels for Nancy's car, i'm loathe to put them on and screw up the geometry of the car, so wanted to get it done all at once.

are we talking main dealer stuff or can anyone recommend a decent place somewhere in and aorund either norf london or the richond area?

A dealer would probably be easiest as they will know the settings to use, but anywhere with a laser alignment machine can do it. Chiswick did mine, drove brilliantly afterwards but cost is at the top end of the scale (

I had mine done at Chiswick as part of the insurance repair.

Drove better after Chris (Centre Gravity) had done it.

Chiswick put the alignment in tolerance, whereas Chris optimised it.

Why would you need the geometry reset with different wheels?

The suspension geometry shouldn't change just because you've fitted new wheels. If the wheels are different sizes to the originals, the overall geometry will change, but you can't do anything about that. The castor, camber, toe etc will remain the same irrespective of what wheel you put on the car.

If you want it checked and adjusted to near perfect settings, Chris at Centre Gravity is your man. However he's based in the Midlands. Unless you organise a few of you to have your alignment checked it would work out quite expensive.

Just wait until you can organise another alignment meet

I would recommend Chris myself also. Just speak to him and organise a one to one day. He'll optimise everything, take all the bolts out and grease them and then align it all back to better then factory...

He and Jayne come highly recommended.
