found a 2000 plate s2000 for sale, however its had 9 owners. is this too many.

For an 18 yo car not so surprising, two summers apiece. It will need a good looking at. Also depends on if they were raggers or grannies.

 

Difficult to know. Could be a bunch of short term, spend as little as possible owners. Or if you're lucky, more recent owners could have spent some time and money on it. If recent owners were for a very short time, I'd be looking VERY carefully, or looking elsewhere.

 

Some people get bored of cars easily and change after 3-6 months. Some people can't gel with the s2000 (shock horror I know!) some people find it uncomfortable to drive... I'd buy on condition not amount of owners personally

 

If your mrs had slept with 9 guys before you met her would you walk away or get to know her. Who cares about the number of owners, It the condition of the car and how its been looked after that counts.

 

 

Just to let u know the seller pulled out of the sale 3 hours before visit.
