Default S2000 Software Upgrade

I just had a text from City Honda, Basingstoke telling me that my free software upgrade is now due for my car. I have an MY04 is there actually a software update or are they just spamming me?

Actually service history, historical trending (bouncing of rev limit etc etc), condition monitoring will be coming to ECU's very soon and are in some ECU's at the moment but with a little less functionality than the afore mentioned.

We're going off on a tangent now.

I'd be tempted just to go to see what they do, and watch them like a hawk to see if they actually plug the ECU into anything.
