S2000 sprinting at RAF Odiham
Its been a quiet year for me this year due to the additional child in the family - its September and I've only done 3 events! After a couple of months sitting in the garage I sprinted the S at a new venue in the South East on Saturday - RAF Odiham. RAF Odiham is home of the Chinook's which make a great sound when they take off!
The venue itself is a new one that we're hoping to get onto a few championships next year if we can secure the venue. It's a great course with a lot of different types of corners and not a sea of cones that you see at most airfields - I'd say the best one I've driven on (btw: its a different layout to the bike trackdays at Odiham).
Anyhow here's the first video, my best time of the day and good enough for a class win (by 7 secs).

The second video is my last run where I was trying to ensure I stayed in front of the Ferrari's and Porches....ended up trying a bit to hard. By the time I'd spun I'd already made at least 2 badly time sapping errors. Still a decent time for the class though but the 2 Ferrari's and 1 Porsche improved their time in front of me :-(....oh well, next time!)

Hopefully I'll try and fit in 1 more event for the year.
Cheers,
Matt

You really looked like you were shifting on that first run, just a shame you spun it on the second one. The fact you are competing with Ferrari's and Porsche's says a lot about you and the S.
It is nice to see pete's old car being used in this way, it's some how fitting that it spends it's life being driven in competitions
