Default S2000 too expensive to modify

But the DC5 isnt

Just browsing and found this link.

Been aware of CPL for a while and they seem to be a great company. They do a turbo and S/C kit for the DC5 (and CTR) at bloody unreal prices.

Only problem will be getting all that power down onto the road, from a standing start the lack of traction is a real problem (especially in the wet!).

But I agree mods for the DC5 are much cheaper, you can get a carbon Gruppe M airbox for

CTR's and Tegs are a LOT more common than s2000's plus they are cheaper to buy hence more people have them and willing to throw money at them basically, plus specialist cars are always expensive to modify.

tbh I don't think just over 3k for a comptech/vortech is that expensive roughly 100bhp for 3 grand - not bad value at all really

DC5's are as rare as rocking horse sh1t.

I saw 3 S2000s on the way to work this afternoon, but didn't see any DC5's or DC2's.

What I find odd is that the S2000 requires no more kit than these cars do, so why the hell is stuff so expensive? I suspect the fact that you cant get Hondata for pre MY06 S2000's is one reason JR haven't brought anything out yet.

CTRs perhaps, but not the DC5, there are only a few hundred in the country. And the mods are not cross-compatible.
