Default S2000 Trackdays

Just doing some market research on trackdays.

We used to get some good numbers for trackdays, but a lot of the old crowd have moved on and track prices have probably crept up meaning numbers have dropped somewhat.

I'd love to see maybe 1 or 2 key club days per year, with 15-20 cars attending but this all depends on whether there's still demand for it.

So just trying to canvass opinion as to what people want, and who out there is still genuinely interested in trackdays.

Cost is probably the biggest challenge, along with location, given we are all spread out. Cost is a tricky one as there is always a trade off between price and what day of the week / what track it is... pick a weekday and we don't get numbers, pick a weekend and costs are higher.

So, feedback appreciated.

Also any interest in a day before the end of the year would be useful to know.

Still here and still love the track days, unfortunately due to a bout of illness (now fully recovered) and member of family passing away I haven’t been able to get the planed work done on the car for the 2012 season – until the end of next week that is , when it should be up and running with some interesting changes.

I will be looking for some Open Pit T/days to do but they will probably be mid-week events for a few reasons:

1/ significantly cheaper
2/ generally not as busy
3/don’t have to book months in advance

May see some members – who knows?

99-199 pound in cost.
Thursday to Sunday as I only work monday to Wednesday.
Within 200 mile radius of London.

My s2k should be ready by mid October so I will be up for Track days even if it's once a month thing

I'm lucky enough to be doing approx 3 track days a year from now on, due to a job 'upgrade'! With enough notice, therefore, I should be able to do most weekday options for a S2K day, or maybe an expensive weekend day if at a good circuit.

If we have enough people we can do one big yearly track meet, somewhere in midland is good so everyone can get to. I will join wherever.

Of course I'm interested!

For me there is only two reasons why I wouldn't go- work schedule (I'm a 5 on 4 off shift worker ) and noise limits.

Open pit lane in the centre of the contry would be good, though I don't mind travelling down south. Good excuse for a light piss up the night before!

Edit - and of course the 3rd reason of broken car,
