GT is just a marketing designation for cars that were sold with the hard top and a stand. Other than the bits necessary to accommodate the hard top, it's exactly the same as the roadster.

Except, of course, the GT is faster and better...

I thought it was a grown up community here, are people afraid to ask questions that may not seem obvious to them but do to others.Maybe some people are born with a head full of information but i can admit to not knowing everything still...........

Hi and ,

there is no real difference other than the HT with the GT. Model year differences can be found here . As for other models Southern Counties Honda made a Mugen S for a limited run, there's a type V available in Japan (with variable rate steering) and the Gioire introduced in Oct 02 also for the JDM market. The JDM market also features differing levels of trim (leather seats are an option).

In the UK only the roadster was available to 2002 when the GT was introduced. Specifications are the same for both models although Honda does have factory fitted options available (spoiler, skirts, front lip, cd mulit changer etc.).

Tuners such as Spoon etc. also have their own in house developed S's and a few have been sold to the public.

That's about it really the S unlike other cars really has no variations in model or specification (in the UK market anyway) so just make sure you read the FAQ thread, be careful in the wet and enjoy the car.
