S2000 vs ...
most of us know the S2000 has one of the best handling of the majority of cars, but to what extent?
how does the S2000 compare around the twists (not straight line performance) vs these other cars - stock for stock.
Caterham
noble
lambo
fezza
skyline (new or old)
....i know there was more, but i cant think of any....
all the above cars are reguarded as very focused cars and track-orientated, much like our S's.
so how would the S compare?

Just take it all with a pinch of salt though

You can't compare an S to a Caterham. They are completely different animals.
The Caterham corners far better than an S. Its not really surprising seeing as a caterham superlight weighs less than half of an S.

An S2000 doesn't compare to any of those cars
Skyline has many derivatives BTW

That's not to say the S isn't a great handling car but maybe the perspective is a bit off.
That said, comparing something like a Skyline to a Caterham seems daft too.

Purely on handling: slower/faster I'm talking about a single medium speed single apex corner and the speed at the apex
Caterham - S2000 is slower
noble - s2000 is slower
lambo - I've overtaken a few, don't know how much is driver, think the gallardo will be a smidgeon slower or similar, murcie even slower, all due to weight
fezza - 360 CS quicker, 360 similar
skyline (new or old): s2000 should be quicker than R32-34 on road tyres
E46 M3 - s2000 quicker
but it's a pointless comparison, as on almost all but the tinyest twistiest tracks the power of the bigger cars will more than make up for it.
The S2000's handling isn't necessarily great. For example it's far easier to drive the M3 quickly than it is the S2000. So your average driver will be able to go quicker in the M3. Even with DSC off in the M3.
