S200D SD
Ive had mine for 6years nearly on both s2ks and only been pulled once.
That was only because they were pulling everyone over, the copper even said it wasnt that bad.
cost me 20quid and a stamp from an mot station.

I would refer any one who is interested to the following link for the DVLA governance on the display of number plates in the UK.

The reality of course is that the more you screw with it in terms of size and spacing the more likely the plod are to pick you up for it.
As a biker this is something that my mind wrestles with often. On smart naked street bike like my speed triple having a standard size plate looks really naff.
My choice has been to reduce the letter sizing slightly and mount it at an angle that tends to make the reduced sizing look like an optical effect!! Ever wonder why so many bikes have number plates mounted at interesting angles!!
I have not had any unwanted attention as a result of this approach, yet! Favorite place for getting pulled on the plate issue is motorway service stations when the law are having a coffee and fancy a bit of sport
You will however need to replace it with a correcly spaces and sized plate for the MOT assuming you are getting it done at a reputable test station!! One way to find that out of course!
If it floats your boat I would say do it as long as you can accept the potential consequences with out then moaning about it if you get nicked.
Personally I would rather spend the cost of the show plate on something that might actually improve the car, (or if breaking the rules is a problem but you still need a bling fix one can always go for the fluffy dice, snake skin floor mats, his and hers windscreen sun strip, etc.)

In fact, due to their recent ubiquity, I now feel the majority of personalised no. plates are lame. Especially if mis-spaced.
Unfortunately, the bikers' technique of using cable ties to attach the plate doeasn't work on the S2000.
There IS hovever a problem with high pressure at speed behind the S2000's rear bumper. I wonder if you cut holes in it behind the number plate, it would release the high-pressure zone...
Mine were illegal when I bought the S.
S2000 **
I did not want the hassle of getting pulled, or worrying if I'd get pulled whenever I saw a copper, hence why I changed to S200 0**.
If you want to do it, then fine. Just don't complain about the cops who are doing their job if you get pulled, even if it is a minor offence.
