Default S2K Reviews

Hi,

I am thinking about changing my car in the next few months and the S2K is a major player in my mind, I have read loads of reviews and love what I am hearing except a few things.

Basically I am a big Bloke Just over 6 Foot and pushing 17st so the thing all reviewers have said about the car is that its some what cramped inside, can anyone elaborate/comment on this for me please.

Cheers Dave

I'm around six feet and probably of similar kind of dimensions to you I don't find it cramped at all so don't let the comments made by reviewers put you off. Yes, it's cramped if you compare it to a Mondeo or the like. No, it's not cramped by the standards of lightweight roadsters.

But the best advice is as Graham suggests - get down to your local dealer and try it out for yourself.

You should be ok - I'm taller (193cm) and heavier and it's not too bad. Bit tight for headroom with roof up, but that's just more reason to have the roof down!

Hi fella's,

Tnx for the replies, Yeh that is my plan to get over to a dealer with one in, ive checked the local one's online but they aint showing stock of the cars so looks like a trip out is in order.

I had an MR2 Roadster 2 yrs ago and a TT last year and a MK2 MR2 Just which I had no problems in so I am used to the feeling off compact, I am very pleased to hear that you as owners find them OK.

I did a search as I am wanting one with the hard top but when ive searched this site it keeps throwing a wobbly at me so I hope someone can help, do all S2K

The hardtop is an option. If you're buying new, Honda sell it as the S2000 GT, adding the hardtop, stand and cover for an extra

It's not impossible to add a HT later on, Dave - you can pick up HTs off ebay for
