Is this sacrilige?
Hey come on! No it's not. I only use mine on the weekends - sometimes every other weekend. It's my little toy. I didn't need to buy it. I just wanted it.
I walk to the shops.
I walk in the rain.
I use public transport to work.
My little baby is my play thang.

And when you were younger you never wanted to play in the puddles? Come on, you are mis-treating your S and not giving it the same fond childhood memorys that you had of splashing around in puddles.

Having used mine everyday to commute in, it was starting to get a bit familiar..........now when I pop the garage door open, get inside the car it is such a total opposite to the Corrolla it really feels special....the smell of the car just excites me after a week or more apart

Not really, but if I were going to have to have a 'sensible' weekday car and a car for use on high days and holidays, it wouldn't be an S2000.
Not that there is anything wrong with doing that (it's certainly not sacrelige) - just seems like a lot of money to have tied up in something which is hardly used (and keeps depreciating).
I have often thought what I'll get next as it's highly likely that Mandy will be setting up her own business and we'll need to rething our car policy - I'll need to have a sensible tow vehicle and hopefully a toy for weekends, I've often thought about a TR5 or 6 or a TVR V8S - all of which can be had for around

I look forward to the weekend - opening the garage door and being greeted by her lurvely curves smelling of Zaino!
I get in there and fire her up - the sound of teh Amuse bouncing off the walls - bliss.
I will not budge. I hate driving in the rain. I WILL NOT TAKE HER OUT IN THE RAIN.
However when I do take her out - it's for atleast 4-5 hours covering 100-200 miles.

I sometimes wish I had a 'hack' so that I didnt rack the miles up quite so quickly on the S..........but even though I drive it daily, I still love it!
