I did think about this before I upgraded my phone (had a Nokia 6600 before), I really want to have a device with a bigger screen.

I was a bit sceptical about using a larger handset, but figures it wasn't going to be much bigger than my P900. I haven't had any issues with the size though.

I have a mitac mio 168 with the built in GPS. Its well recommended. Mine is the rebadged Medion unit from Aldi like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5760656764&rd=1

The Navigon software is very good and has a lot of the POI as standard. Recommended.

I got this bundle recently.
Very pleased with it.

(First bit of software I got for it? A great texas holdem game )

There are cheaper options available.

I have since discovered that there are better mounts available, (less wiring) but I can't remember what make they were.
