Default Scoobynet

I've been lurking around scoobynet for a few weeks because I am considering buying an Impreza STI. Its one of the few cars that is respectably quick and practical enough to use everyday.
However..... for every friendly and helpful guy over there ,there is also a c**t just lurking around the corner! One of the reasons I have never bought an impreza in the past is the dubious image, and I have not been reassured by the quality of some of the posters over there!!!!
Its funny how often stereotypes of car drivers are so often true.

Anyway heres a recent quote regarding noisy exhausts....
"I have a firestorm back box with full decat, and it's very loud, but i love it, and dont give a t*ss what other people think, my money, my car, is'nt ileagle, so fcuk"

ILEAGLE!!!!

Hmmm, might have to have a rethink........

if/when I eventually change my car I am expecting to stay on here for all but the essential - how do I fix this? or where is a cheap place to buy that? type stuff.

I would still consider the STi - image or not. It's the running costs that put me off more

When I buy another 2 seater convertible, it will be an S again......
Practicality rules at the moment though, its really difficult to cram a couple of servers and a boxer dog into the S!
Besides, If I bought a Boxter I'd have to stop dealing with you jolly nice chaps!!!!

Its a shame really the scooby is a very good car, I think it's a bit fugly, but still an extremely good car. I also believe there are noise regulations for cars which it could fall foul of. People with this type of attitude just make everyone elses life a misery.
