Default Scuffs

Been 'Given' two bumper scuffs over the past year so since it's just been in for its 27,000 service thought I'd get the dealer to sort it out.

Quoted just shy of 500quid to remove, strip and respray the bumpers. Seems a reasonable cost to me but wondered if anyone else had any experience?

Also going to have the drives side headlight re-seated since the front scuff looks like its been shifted slightly by the one to the front. Garage said they'd do it when they had the bumper off for no cost providing the the light mounting itself wasn't damaged

won't really show up too well on pics I don't think. Won't have been completed until after 19th so should be able to show you next weekend.

The quote is for removal, stripping down of the full bumper (top coat is peeled back in one spot so won't just Laquer/polish out) and complete respray to get a good colour match

I've had similar quotes for other cars by independants and they've always been something similar

Perhaps I'm underestimating the work needed. My front bumper had a total respray for stonechips and that was

Sounds about right to me comparing with my quote for rear bumper removal, respray for scuffs.

Just had my front and rear bumpers done for the same reason - scuffs.
