Default Seconds from disaster

I knew it would happen sooner or later. I came within inches of stacking my S into a bollard coming off a roundabout at lunchtime today.

After all the warm dry weather we've had over the last few weeks, and the first day of rain and I make a school boy error and nearly get caught out.

Basically I gave it too much mid corner, and the back stepped out and I was suddenly heading towards a large traffic island with brightly coloured bollards on it. I was lucky; I was quick enough to caught, and correct it before I ran out of room. What made it wrose, was the fact BMW drivers was right up my jacksee.

He felt it necessary to give me the horn when I pulled off, as he must have thought I did it on purpose to piss him off. Tw@t!

I was lucky today, please be careful in the greasy conditions folks.

Glad you're ok!! Maybe you should consider coming along to the Berks alignment meet to minimise the chance of a repeat?

The roads are greasy, as you should expect.

Had a bit understeer in Prelude & Transit today, & was going (relatively) gently.

Today is the kind of day to cash the S. After all the glorious dry weather, today's rain have made all the roads greasy. Be aware

CHARLIE SAYS. "IN THE WET DONT PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN UNTILL YOUR FRONT AND REAR WHEELS ARE INLINE".

i reckon subconciously we want the backend to stepout.not a lot ,but just enough to look cool.

luckiloy where i work i can powerslide down the road so i get all that out of my system.

Just done a bit of reading up about the alignment check. Sounds like a worthwhile check.

I was being cheeky. It won't have much impact but I'm trying to muster interest and participation in the alignment meet.
