Just had my service done yesterday and have to say Brayley Honda Hemel where excellent inparticular big thumbs up to David Very knowledgable and friendly guy who I felt really looked after my S while it was there, also had a nice washed 'n' Vacced car when I collected it.

Also booked in to Wheels in Motion today for 2 new rear tyres £105 each and a geometry check.

haroonsarwar, I see you've booked your car into WiM ...any luck with booking your car in for a service, i.e. your original post? Would be nice to know which garage you settled on as I'm not too far from you.

Chet I've opted for Chiswick Honda. The car is due for a 54k service. This is a major service which involves a lot of work.

I was quoted £489.00 by Newton Honda in Croydon. As I will be supplying my own fluids (engine oil, diff oil and brake fluid) and I will not need a new air filter, Chiswick Honda will charge £255.79

Thanks for the reply.. .
Ruislip is the closest one to my home whilst Chiswick is the second close one. When I called both garages up to get a quote for a 45k/60 month service [although I am on 33k], Chiswick Honda wanted to charge significantly more, I cannot remember the exact amount but it was at least £90 more at Chiswick. I was quite shocked considering my S2000 has been looked after/serviced by them since brand new.

Did you consider Ruislip? I know that BSM139/Bharat speaks highly of them as his S2000 has gone there for TLC for the last 10 years I think..

I've found that the costs of servicing varies greatly from dealer to dealer. There is scope to negotiate on the price. Chiswick Honda is part of the network of dealers that offer a discount if your are a S2K UK paid up member (they insist on seeing your membership card!)

I will report back once I collect the car on Thursday.

I didn't consider Ruislip Honda as they are too far from me. I would go with Ruislip as per B's recommendation.

How did you get on with Honda Chiswick? Well enough to recommend?

...also, how did you get on with WIM? My Rio is booked in for later this month for a Geo check... how did you find it? Did you have your Geo adjusted to Honda factory spec and also did Tony grease the bushes on your S?

Chiswick were great

WiM - money well spent. My bolts were fine so I didn't have them greased. A job for the summer along with coilovers
