I've used Gerry at PT 3 or 4 times now for srevicing and other bits and bobs. Service is always good and is happy for you to supply your own oil etc if you want to, unlike other places I've used before. Got the big 52/54k service done before Xmas with gearbox and diff oil etc - he knows his stuff

Evening folks
Anyone used honda at whiteinch? I've been in there and the guys seem not too bad. For a minor service I would just take along my own oil and filter. Knocks off like £60 in the price for a level 1 service. Might give paisley a try. Bit out of the way for me mind you.
Thanks
Shari

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice. I've re-read my Honda extended warranty and it's unambiguous - the car must be serviced by a Honda dealer otherwise I invalidate the warranty. Given that there's 6 months remaining on the warranty I'm going to opt for a Honda dealer service this time but I expect I'll switch to one of the independents mentioned in this thread once I'm out of warranty.

Cheers all,

Jon

Haven't read my paperwork that thoroughly and hadn't noticed that clause, so I'll have to visit Honda in Stirling myself soon , time to negotiate prices then.

According to the UK S2000 club website, members can get a 15% discount on parts and labour at Phoenix Honda in Stirling. Of course, it all depends on the starting price

Ex Phoenix employee, I get a not bad discount already but I'm always after more, cheers though.

I would prefer Whiteinch than Linwood. They are far more accomodating. There was a guy called Jo but he has moved to Shettleston - I always got him to do my MOTs including my 911 as he genuinely took care to do the MOT

Hi, I'm a new member currently looking for an S2000 but I work for Western Mazda in Edinburgh.
The reason i'm posting this is that Western Honda share our workshop at 5A Stenhouse Mill Lane, Edinburgh. EH11 3LR
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Douglas on the service desk is a great guy & very customer focused.
Bob, the technician, knows his stuff regarding the S2000's
Give them a shout if you require any servicing/repairs carried out. You won't be disappointed!
