Default Sets of keys
Out of curiosity, how many sets of keys should come with the 09 car?

I seem to recall the 02 I had came two sets plus a valet (grey) key. Dealer's only given me two sets with the new car. Also didn't give me the little metal tag with the key code on it

For my 05 and 09 I received two sets of key and the metal serial number tag.

Get it off the dealer
If they don't play ball - complain to Honda UK

You NEED that tag.

If I had one I'd leave it at home! I've had enough 'scrapes' as it is!

Seriously, is it some kind of security ID that allows the owner to order new sets of keys if the originals get lost?

Just phoned dealer. Apparently, all the info you need is written on the inside of the service book. No tag needed.
