OK, humour me since I know NOTHING about car electrics, OK? I bought some of those same horns but haven't even begun to start to think about fitting them. Given my complete and total unmitigated ignorance, I was just going to leave it to the dealer when it went in next.

When you say the feed is from the battery, how physically is that achieved? Is it as simple as running a wire from the horn to the battery, with the fuse wired in the middle? Can it really be as simple as attaching a wire to one of the battery terminals (and if so, which one?) and bolting the horns to something solid......?

OK, you can stop laughing now. I'm sure someone is going to say it's easy. But it's not easy if you've never done it before and don't have a clue how to go about doing it. It's only easy because you've done it before and know what you're doing!

Ta!

W6DAN - Stop sticker came with the K&N. It basically says don;t throw this away !

Mark

I didn't laugh, electrics scare the shite out of me !

It is however as simple as taking a power feed from the battery terminal marked '+' for positive. (Attach it last though !)

Instructions detail how to wire the relay (I fixed mine using a plastic popper thing from the black plastice bastard thing.)

Find a good earth (I used the one from the old horn to earth each horn. Mount the horns on the bolts that hold the panels on (see pics).

Final wire runs to the switch (actually the old woir for the old horn)

Took my time but excluding the black plastic bastard thing it only takes about 1 hour to do.

Make sure you pop a fuse (blade ones are better) in power feed from the battery.

Result is no pissing about with the fuse box etc. and a nice italian sounding horn

Oh, and it would appear that the Ss horn is positive triggered. The fiamms have directions for negative triggered as well
