Default Shocks - sizes

I need to identify the rear shocks from the front shocks when they are off the car.

I think one set in longer than the other – can anyone confirm which ones are longer or if there is a different way to tell the apart?

The rear ones have the extra reservoirs, and I'm pretty sure the fronts don't. Or I could be talking rubbish

The rear ones have the funny little extra bits sticking out the sides, the front ones don't.

Nope rears are shorter as the mounting point on the car is lower.
That is why Honda put reservoirs on the rears and not the fronts
