Short journeys in an S2000
We've had an S2000 for just over 3 years. It's currently our fun weekend car, so it spends most of the week sitting unused
. However, we're thinking about moving house to somewhere that would mean around a 3.5 mile drive along country roads to the station (<10 minutes) as part of my commute.
Does anyone have any views on how bad that type of journey would be for an S2000 (twice a day, 5 days a week)? From a search of other non-S2000 forums, some people seem to think that provided you take it for a decent drive once a week to get everything properly up to temperature it isn't too bad, but I'd be interested to hear what the S2000-specific view point is! The alternative is to run a beater station car, but that obviously adds an additional cost.
