Default shuttle shake

Am on s2000 number 4 now and the shuttle shake on my current 08 reg going over some bumps in the road is terrible. I never had this in any of my other ones. Any ideas what it could be? Or are the roads just so bad these days they are just shaking my current s to bits! Recently had a full geo done too so I know that's fine

With the S2000 chassis you shouldn't be getting scuttle shake - maybe check your suspension for those delivery spacers in the springs - it's a later car so it's possible someone's missed them.

Or is what you are describing bump steer, a classic case for getting your geo done by someone else.

Compared to say, an MX-5, it's an E-class bodyshell.

Sometimes the door buffer rubbers screw themselves in and the doors rattle, leading to the symptoms of SS.

If that's OK, check chassis bolts, spring/damper condition.

And finally, grotty welding or signs of a cut n'shut.

Never seen it in any of my 5, it was designed specifically not to suffer from it!
As others have said get the suspension and geo checked

Is OK on normal roads but there is one particular road in the next town and that's where I notice it most it is a poorly repaired bit of road am sure the 500 quid in road tax I pay would easily sort it!

I improved rattles etc no end when I had my car in bits by simply sorting out the doors and thier stops etc along with the bonnet and boot ( not trunk and hood or worse still fenders we are British here just )

God the numpty hijacks another serious thread with his I name comments , I resisted the temptation to add a further reply . Treat him with the contempt he craves

British? Really Chippenis? How can you be british when you're not even native to this planet?
