Default Sidelights

A front sidelight bulb has gone on my MY00 and I am thinking of going for LEDs. I assume these will be 501s, any opinions on the most satisfactory make/suppliers?

When I looked into getting some, I just trawled through the following threads as there is alot of info on what to avoid, potential mods for some of the LEDs and where to buy them from.

I think Ajs_s2k has had more luck than most with these to date, give him a shout to see which ones he's got as ALOT of them are prone to failure.

PM sent. Are they a bit of a bitch to fit? I can't even see the back of the headlights so I'm guessing its a wheel arch liner removal job?

email on the way mate.

They are okay to fit, it's in the handbook, takes around 5 mins each side. You don't need to remove all of arch lining, just one clip, wheels on full lock then reach in and swap.
