I like my snowchains

A doddle to fit. A doddle to remove. And legal in the areas we will be visiting.
Very compact too.

Apparently as good as chains under most conditions and TUV approved.

Doubt we'll need them, but I may get some all the same.

Thats a good point, a mate with an RS4 Avant on snow tyres said he was going up country roads that even big 4x4s were getting stuck on! They do make a serious difference, but we dont get enough of that weather to justify putting some on for a few months, IMO..
Well if i had to rely on the S for transport during the winter that would be the 1st thing i would buy.

Try a 100Kg bag of sand in the boot to add weight to the rear end.

Works a treat or should I say it has for me in the past

My road yesterday morning

Had a nightmare this morning!!

Got an email from work saying if you live in MK to get your ass into work, as the road conditions are good. So I tell my team to get their asses in..... I left about 8am

The Main road

I navigated 2 roundabouts sideways and decided to turn round.

Got stuck in my estate, car would go nowhere, 2nd, 3rd, reverse, even got into 4th and it wouldn't move. Neighbour helped trying to push and got his spade out.. no use.

THEN a REALLY helpful woman leant out of her balcony and said to me "Try putting it in 2nd" I nearly punched the ****

Anyway left the S up the road all abandoned after managing to slide it half into a parking bay, and walked home.... Poor thing.
