The antifreeze screenwash stuff that petrol stations sell works well.
Use lots of it regularly

Leave your engine running for a while, you could use a hairdryer to speed up the process of defrosting, then empty the entire contents of the screen wash.

The refill using lots of the screenwash stuff. Make it stronger than needed.

A question is never stupid if you genuinely don't know the answer.

I add a little meths to the mix - seems to do the job most of the time, unless it is really cold.

Can you get heated aftermarket jets anyone know?

Yes you can.

You can also get a heat exchanger that warms the water en route.
Think there is at least one set on Ebay right now.

I picked up some for an MGF last year for a previous car, never got around to fitting them - cost me a tenner brand new

The only really stupid question is the one never asked, in my opinion.
