Default Slippery Surfaces....

..... well I've just finished a session waxing the wife's CR-V (S2000 replacement ) with the Wax Wizard's products.

Bloody hell....

The car's paintwork is like glass now; it's all I can do to stop myself running my fingers over it

The shine is so deep you can see yourself clearly in the reflection (and this was at late dusk!).

So it process went a little like this:

1. Pressure hose the car down
2. Wash the car
3. Rub the paintwork with a clay bar
4. Wash the car (again!)
5. Dry the car throughly
6. Cleanse and feed the paintwork (only needs to be done twice a year)
7. Buff the car (already nice and shiney at this point but the surface had no protection)
8. Apply wax
9. Allow wax to cure
10. Buff with special cloth
11. All wax to cure again
12. Buff with a different special cloth
13. Admire reflection....

In total it took about 4 hours but most of this time was with the clay bar getting the crap off the paintwork and I hadn't realised quite how much bodywork the CR-V has

A drop of water fell onto the bonnet ( ) when I'd just finished and it didn't bead. The water just ran straight of the bodywork and left no trail the surface really is that slippy...

The wax wizard's prices (for the Wax only) range from

I loved Wax Wizard when he was over here, but both his US and UK websites no longer work.
Would love to be able to get some more of his stuff, very similar to Zymol and Zaino for quality.
The leather cleaner is fantastic, and the conditioner makes the leather smell like new
Would love to know where you got the stuff from
