Slow depreciation, NOT!!! (Rant!!)
I think it may be a question of Horses for Courses, CG, (or perhaps Cities for Pretties). As a New Town, Milton Keynes must have a fair number of louts likely to 'key' an S2k, as well as having a smaller number of aficionados wanting to buy one. This may explain why you got a better offer from Priory Bedford - a different population profile.
Why don't you ring Priory at Cambridge (01223 359151) and speak to Terry Frost, their sales manager, to ask him for a telephone quote on your description? He may have a more bullish view of sell-on prospects in Cambridge - a top grade socio-economic population - after all, I bought one from him, didn't I? I doubt that he would bother to check with Bedford but would give you a figure from his own knowledge.

By the way, Matt, what's "Demi-Pimp Red Leather"?
Sounds like casual wear for a transvestite from Shepherd's Market.
I trust you don't include that in your sales spiel to prospective (dealer) buyers!

Is this the Cambridge in England? or another Cambridge I`ve not been made aware of....last time I looked down that neck of the woods I was stopped by a guy playing the Banjo `ala Deliverence style`.

ROFLMAO!!
On a serious note Matt - that appraisal sucks. I'm sure a minter like yours ought to fetch 20k even with the nights drawing in

A very recent chat with my dealer revealed that my car which is the same year as Matt's, 2 yrs and 5 months old, would have a 'book' trade-in price to them of around 18.5K. That is the start point, adjustment would then be made for condition obviously, and whether you're above and below 'book' mileage. We didn't get round to a firm figure but somewhere in between 19 anf 20k was indicated. It would depend also what you were trading in for.
