Wish I was so fortunate - I had to bin a front earlier in the week after KwikFit declined to repair it since the nail in it was so close to the shoulder of the tyre. The tyre had a good 5-6mm of tread left on it

best way to check for a leak is to immerse the whole wheel in a dustbin of water, it is then very easy to see where the air is escaping.

I had a slow puncture when the car had only done 1k turned out it was on the sidewall and the tyre had to be replaced. I drove on the dodgy tyre for nearly 1 week, with no problems, but I did check the pressure twice a day.

Well I went to Kwik Fit last night, who to my suprise, were actually pretty good.

They had a long look at the wheel on the car and could find nothing. They then removed it and stuck it in the waterbath for about 10 minutes.... and not a thing came out

So I am losing pressure, but it must be too slow to see where its coming from. The only advice they could give me was to keep monitoring it and if it starts going any faster take it back, either that or submerse it for a few hours and see if anything happens

Anyone got any suggestions?

a) have it re-sealed, or
b) put alot of pressure in the tyre and then put it in a water bath.
