Default smoothing

hello,

I did a search, but come up with zero!

basically my plan is to remove front and rear honda badges, remove headlight washers, remove s2000 badge from wings and fit oe style front lip.

are the H badges plugged into holes? ie will there be a hole left when I remove them? if so, will the boot hole need welding up? or just filling etc?

any tips for removing the head light washers? ie what can be removed in total? disconecting the lines from washer bottle etc etc.

and lastly how much roughly will painting etc cost?

I can remove all the badges my self, remove washer stuff myself, but filler and paint etc will need to be done at a body shop, and ile be fooked if ive any idea how much I should expect to pay.

thanks for any help
tom.

Could be wrong here but Im sure headlight washers are an MOT requirement if you have xenon headlights fitted (>MY04)

Yes you will have holes behind the front and back H emblems, they would need welding up in the rear, and then obviously some filling and painting, and the front bumper you'd want to have them filled up properly as well, so not just with filler but with some plastic weld or whatever they call it nowadays.

I reckon spraying the bootlid and front bumper won't be cheap, and if it is cheap I'd be worried about the colourmatching.

The side emblems you can just cut off with some fishing wire, might need a good polish after that but that's it.

I've never had an issue with MOT? No ones ever said a thing about the washers. Mine were filled using fibreglass resin and filler, that was 3 years ago and you still wouldn't notice anything was there
