Cool Snow is fun!

Woke up this morning to a pretty hefty snowfall - brilliant! Most of the drive to work was a bit dull on largely clear mainroads, but some of the back roads were superb fun!

Got stuck trying to get up the slope into the work car park - only 3 cars made it, 2 were FWD and 1 is a 4x4 but I tried to get the S up there anyway! Ended up slithering back down, so took another approach - floor it up the slope again but turn, which sort of worked! I then gingerly reversed backwards towards a space while slowly sliding sideways back down the hill thanks to the dodgy camber - got it in the space though!!

Most others just left their cars out on the road, but not me i'm afraid - I'm an S2000 owner, and we're hard. Grrr.

I used to love the snow when I had my S's!!

Great fun, especially if you can find a private area to play.

These are a few years ago in my first S... I had loads of fun that day!!

I'm still too chicken to take mine out on the open road when I've got a choice when it's snowed. Also doesn't help that i live in a cul de sac, on a steep hill which doesn't get gritted. Hubbie's Evo 7 even struggled to get out this morning.

Anyway, I managed to have some fun on Boxing Day at a friend's house. They've got loads of land and a patch of tarmac which was super slippery and good to test my S on. Me and two others, both in 911's doing donuts on Boxing Day morning - made my Christmas!!

Trouble with snow is you dont see the kerb coming at you sideways.
That IS very expensive - I knocked the beam axle about 2" sideways on the old Audi beater

Sideways + kerb = bad news.
