That Pioneer's a stunningly elegant design & a good spec.

finally seen the wonga! No wonder they hid it.

Good luck with the instal.

Let us know what you think of Wallace & Gromit's van, too!
He's had the W&G van for ages so can report already (now his wife's car, so he can't love her very much!!! )

Prestige did a very good job 'reinstalling' my system when I added an amplifier. In addition to the amp, they remounted the woofer part of the speakers and added insulation into the doors, and also ran an analogue input for an MP3 to the glove box.

Their installs carry a lifetime warrantee. Yes they do cost, but they are good.

The A2 will deliver 500 Class A RMS to each Sub so more than enough.

2 Amps in bootwell with a custom built rack and 2 covers (1 Glass 1 Wood).
2 Subs 1 on each side of the boot.
Tweeters in A Pillars
OEM speaker position has been cut and made deeper to fit the huge magnets of the Chamelon comps.

That leaves me the rest of the boot apart from the 2 cutouts on the sides in the boot.

More than enough for 2 carry bags for road trips.

No way the power stage of that amp delivers any significant class A output...
I have a class A amp at home. It weighs about 40 kg makes the lights flicker when powered on and runs hot enough to be uncomfortable to the touch despite huge heathsinks. Even so it 'only' delivers 80 w in pure class A...

"If high output powers are needed from a Class A circuit, the power wastage will become significant. For every watt delivered to the load, the amplifier itself will, at best, waste another watt. For large powers this will call for a large power supply and large heat sink to carry away the waste heat."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_amplifier

See what i meant ?
Just me being fed up by ludicrous claims by manufacturers.
BTW this doesn't mean your amp cannot be a rather good one.

Not these. They get warm but never hot.

For the price I paid for them they better not get hot and beleive it or not they do hit those rates. Thats why they keep winning car audio awards.

Dont know if you have heard of Brax but these amps are made by the same company and cost a little less than the brax but a single Brax amp will set you back in the region of 2 to 3K and some for upto 6K thats a hell of alot more than a Home amp.

The amp will deliver reliably down to 2ohm as I've had them tested. I'm not dumb enough to spend that much without atleast getting them tested.

They do sound wonderfull though had them in my BMW for a while.
