Default Soft top problem

Hi all,

Went to put the roof down this afternoon, as you do.
Applied handbrake, unclipped both roof clips, pressed switch and.......
Nothing.
At all.

No sound from either side - as if no power is getting to the motors.
(I've checked both fuses which are ok.)

The last time I put the roof down was before I was away at Christmas - and before I had discs and pads fitted all round by the local Honda dealer.
The handbrake certainly feels like its been adjusted - so my question is - do you guys think I have a case for claiming that they have in some way disabled the electric roof via the handbrake sensor?

N.B. I found one other thread that mentions some kind of pin hole with a switch at the end, underneath where the brackets for a hardtop go, to stop the roof being raised whilst a hardtop is fitted - but since I don't even HAVE a hardtop - I assume it can't be this.

Any advice much appreciated...

Gray.

Yep - but couldn't find anything apart from this thread about the switch that stops the mechanism when a hardtop is fitted.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the windows don't go down either.

Would think that as the top and the windows use motors, then there has to be a relay(s) in the circuit some place. Could be that?

Sounds to me like something the dealer might have done. Do they need to remove the centre console to adjust the handbrake? If so, they might have dislodged the switch?

Obviously a primary part of the circuit and I would suspect the handbrake sensor.

Pop the console cover and see if there are any lose plugs first.
