Softtop Replacement Scotland

My softtop is in need of replacement. It’s splitting in the usual spot just above the door and getting worse, no more softtop down action till I get it sorted :( .

Can anyone recommend a good place to get it done in Scotland?

Edinburgh/Fife area would be ideal but I would go further a field to get somewhere good.

Fek me my memory gets worse, but I recommend a guy in Edinburgh, his place is very near costco/ikea, I'll search my stuff to get a contact and get back to you., aha, reboot, W A Ramsay 0131 440 0555

Cheers Martin. Did you have your roof down by this guy? Any pics?

Interested in this myself. Rather travel to Edinburgh than Wales coming from Glasgow

"It’s splitting in the usual spot just above the door and getting worse" Cant really picture where you mean above the door? is this just behind the door at the bottom of the window if the window is up? ie https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/637...coming-undone/

Pics would be much appreciated.

Yeah same place, but it has started to tear towards the rear. Small just now, though looks like it will get worse if I was to put the roof up and down.

There are pic’s on here, I’ll see if I can find them.

I used Wullie to fit a roof to a Bond Equippe(google will be your pal)and it was a really good job, but he has really good reputation in the trade around here, if it's not too far away from you it'd be worth a call or a visit to get his opinion and a quote.

Sounds like the same guy that Murray motors use, so he must be good.

Will do, though it’ll most likely be in the new year when I get it done. I’ll give the guy a call though to see how much it will cost. Will also need to decide either mohair or vinyl and where to buy the softtop.

Any recommendations on mohair or vinyl?
