I've left the party... it was fun for 3 years, but priorities changed and the little nipper just would not fit in the secret compartment!

Weird watching someone drive away in your pride and joy! although a bag full of swag helps numb the pain a little.

I'll be back.

I know how you feel. I said good bye to mine on Monday under more unfortunate circumstances. It was almost like walking away from a relative's grave after the burial

I sold mine last month to make way for a family car (E90 330i) due to a 4mth old baby.

Missing mine greatly but only did 450 miles since Dec in it!

Likewise, I have racked up around 500 miles at most since the turn of the year, even declared SORN for a month as knew wasn't going to be using. It feels very strange looking out at my drive and seeing a big empty space, feels like I've been robbed!

I thought it was a car I would never sell, but I'll be back later in life and hope there are some mint cars left...

Thankfully all the '09 haters' have not infected the market too badly and I could at least sell the car. I was pretty disappointed that some who were affected (I feel for them) seemed determined to destroy the reputation (and value) of the 09 cars. Mine was running as it did the day I collected it with no faults / issues / noises whatsoever. As it seems common to extend the manufacturers warranty on these cars, I don't see the issue and the new owner fully intended to extend the warranty on my car. He was very happy with the car (it really was mint) and drove it away last night. I have offered to buy it back if ever he decides to sell!
