For fronts yes! but not for rears.

The Accord Type-R was only about a 7 second car IIRC. That's assuming it's stock. The Cupra R is a nice car IMO. With 4 people up and a bootful of stuff, I don't think you should expect too much. The car will no doubt get lots better as it loosens up.

Congrats on the purchase, I really like the Leon Cupra R, took one for an extended testdrive before I got the S2k. It actually drives much nicer than my old Audi S3.

I have gone through 12 tyres in 18 months (on my 4th set of rears and 2nd set of fronts)... whats wrong with that ? I have done 29k though. I am averaging 9k per rears and 14.5k per fronts.

Thanks all. I shall take some pics. i am sure i shall be getting another smug car at some point. the insurance was a big killer for me on the S2000. I was 21 when i 1st got it, paying
