Buy a trickle charger and keep the battery charged up over the winter.

Put it in the garage or put a car cover on it to protect the paint.

Thats about it. This is all I do when I leave to go to sea for 4 months, come back and it starts up first time!

Oh, make sure the petrol tank is as low as poss and definitely do not use V-Power.

V-Power contains ethanol and it splits when left into water, water sinks to the bottom. The car will run, but it will be a bit lumpy. Apparently!

To the bottom so you don't have a full tank of old and nasty fuel.

Yep, my s is being SORNed at the month till next April. Car goes on tyre savers, put on a trickle charger and filled up with fuel to stop condensation in the tank.

How about €614 a year and our only option is to let the tax run out and leave it off the road til we want to tax it again.

im thinking of doing this myself this year, as i probably wont use it much either, only thing is i will be gutted if we get a nice day or two.
How come your gonna get rid of it? Is it really worth giving up a summer toy as much fun as this?? If you haven't tracked it yet, do it! You may just change your mind. My brother says he knows you from school (trevor cooper) and like me he's been bitten by the track day bug, so come along on the next one!
