I found somewhere on the site that some chap was a know it all on speaker upgrades and it directed you to his own site . I can't find it now does anybody know where it is ???

You might be thinking of Lucid (who I got my rear speakers from). You'll find him in the site sponsors (link in the Start Button drop down menu)
