Speaker wiring
So now that I can breathe again after my lucky escape with a spark plug leaving the engine at high speed, my attention is back on fitting my new stereo and speakers.
I've recently changed the door cards on my car for MY2004 ones, with the built in tweeters. I've bought focal IS165 component speakers and have had my first proper look at fitting them this afternoon. I'm in the middle of making spacers for the woofer in the door but have a couple of other issues I could do with advice on.
First how did other people route the speaker wire out of the door and back into the car? I had intended to just push it through the rubber tube where all the other wiring goes, but I got nowhere with that from either end
Second, fixing the new tweeter. The Honda one has a screw hole in the back of the magnet and a little steel bracket goes across the back to posts in the door card on either side. The focal tweeter has no hole, but will fit in the gap. Any ideas how I can afix it to that bracket? Is glue a really bad idea? Or if not what the best way to do it is? I don't want to cut holes in my new tweeter grilles but there seems to be little to attach to once I take it out of it's own housing (which is too big to fit in the gap and seems wrong to have 2 grilles on it).
I have been unable to find this detail in the other threads I've looked at, but if anyone knows of one could you point me in the right direction?

1: A wire coat hanger with the end covered in leccy tape or similar to stop it being stabby.
2: Tape the speaker wire to it.
3: liberally cover coat hanger and speaker wire in grease
Or
1: Tape new speaker wire to an existing wire that goes through grommet.
2: Grease
3: Pull other wire through door until new speaker wire is through but without pulling original wire all the way out.

Although I seem to remember the grommet and tube being at an angle rather than a straight pass through.
If you can get a single thin wire through first, then use that to tape the speaker wire to.
Grease is the key though.
(Or vegetable oil or ky or piercing stretching balm or baby oil or whatever you have to hand)
